About
Natalya is a dedicated occupational therapist with a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential in daily life activities.
Graduating in 2013, Natalya embarked on a journey to make a meaningful impact in the field of occupational therapy. In 2019, she relocated to Adelaide and founded Able to Excel Occupational Therapy two years later, a private practice committed to delivering tailored interventions that foster independence and enhance quality of life.
Natalya enjoys working with the full spectrum of occupational therapy clients and has a special interest in driving assessments and facilitating safe return-to-driving interventions. With this in mind, she became a qualified motor driving instructor in 2024 and now provides driving lessons to new drivers and those who have had their license medically suspended.
Natalya has a keen understanding of the pivotal role independence plays in individual well-being. She employs evidence-based assessments and treatments to address children, adolescent and adult needs and goals. She places great emphasis on building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and the families she works with. By fostering open communication and trust, she ensures that interventions are not only effective but also meaningful and sustainable.

Occupational Therapy Treatment
My Occupational Therapy Treatment process aims to provide a client-centered approach that focuses on helping you develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for everyday activities and tasks. Whether you're an adult or have a kiddo dealing with injury, illness, or a disability, I will work with you to improve your functional abilities and enhance your quality of life.
Driving Assessment
An Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a licensed occupational therapist with expertise in driver assessment and rehabilition. This assessment is designed to evaluate your ability to operate a vehicle safely, considering both physical and cognitive factors that may affect your driving skills.
Specialised Driver Training
As a qualified motor driving instructor in South Australia, I can provide driving lessons to NDIS participants with access to specialised driver training funding.
Functional Capacity Assessment
(adult, adolescent and paediatric)
An assessment that includes information regarding a person’s health condition/s, strengths and impairments. It will outline their ability to complete daily tasks, their housing needs and provide recommendations for supports and other health services to assist with EHO and/or general NDIS plan reassessments.
Assistive Technology Assessment
An Assistive Technology (AT) Assessment is a personalized evaluation process that determines the most suitable assistive devices and technologies to support individuals with disabilities or functional limitations. I will work closely with you to understand your specific challenges and goals, ensuring that the recommended solutions are both practical and effective.
Vehicle Modification Assessment
From basic modifications like a spinner knob or an indicator extendor to complex drive-from-wheelchair van modifications, the vehicle modification process can be difficult to navigate.
I will assist you with a tailored vehicle assessment to understand your specific needs, to ensure you gain maximum independence and comfort on the road.
